Why this exists
A colony isn’t
one customer.
It’s a grain fleet, a barn, a shop, a couple of highway trucks and a list of machines that all need the same four things and none of them at the same time.
Supplying that from a parts counter means somebody is always in town. Supplying it from a route means the oil, the filters and the parts show up on the yard together, on a schedule, on one invoice — and the shop can plan a service instead of reacting to a breakdown.
Farmers First grew organically across Manitoba doing exactly that. Nothing about the model changes going west; there is just more of it.

Opening an account

Unit list
Send what’s parked on the yard — tractors, combines, trucks, trailers, barn equipment. A photo of a list is fine.
Supply list
We come back with the grades, the filter part numbers and the pack sizes that match it, cross-referenced.
Schedule
Burn rate sets the delivery interval. The route is built so nothing runs out between drops.
One invoice
Fluids, filters and parts on one account. Tier and pricing move with annual volume.

If you run poultry, you already know the other half.
Feed Caddy is built in Starbuck, Manitoba and distributed by Farmers First. If the colony has broiler or turkey barns, the unit and the brood paper go on the same account as everything else.

Do you hold distribution rights for colonies?
Yes. Farmers First holds Western Canadian distribution rights for its maintenance fluid and filtration lines into Hutterite colonies. That is why the account can be opened directly rather than through a jobber.
How does delivery work?
On a route, not a counter. Deliveries land at the yard on a schedule built around what the colony burns through, so oil and filters arrive before they are needed rather than after something is down.
Can we get truck and trailer parts too?
Yes. Heavy truck and trailer parts run through an established Maxim Truck & Trailer channel held by Farmers First, on the same account and the same invoice as the fluids.
Do you handle the whole yard or just one shop?
Whole yard. Grain fleet, highway trucks, barn equipment, shop stock and the Feed Caddy side all sit on one account.
What does it cost to open an account?
Nothing. Pricing is set by annual volume, and the tier moves as the volume does.
